About This Project
I’ve spent more than sixty years around Tasmanian music and recorded sound — from Commercial and Community radio and the ABC, producing for, and distributing independent labels like Candle Records, to preserving historic recordings at the National Film and Sound Archive of Australia. This project grew out of a simple realisation: this history had never been pulled together in one place, and it was at risk of being lost.
